facWEEKLY April 26

We hope you've had a good week, FAC Family! Here are just some of the great things happening in the coming weeks.

Worship This Sunday

Acts: Movement and Mission | Week 4 | Acts 4

As God began to form the movement of the early church, there were two distinguishing markers about the church culture. Join us this week as we explore those two markers and also celebrate what God has been doing at FAC.

Because our reference points for the sermon will cover chapters 1-4 of Acts, we encourage you to read those chapters in advance, paying close attention to Peter’s "sermons".

facWOMEN Mother & Daughter Luncheon

Date: Saturday, May 4
Time: 12pm
Place: in the Gym and Worship Center
Cost: $5

Calling all FAC Women and Girls - you're invited to our Mother & Daughter Luncheon. Come for a delicious lunch to celebrate all our mothers ahead of the Mother's Day holiday and learn about how God’s Word portrays THE LOVE OF A FRIEND from Guest Speaker Elizabeth Daigle, District Director of Alliance Women. Whether you're a mother, a daughter, or a daughter of the King – all women and girls of any age are invited. Come and bring your friends for fun, fellowship, music, a craft and a great message. Plus, enjoy our flower give-away!

Tickets are $5.00 each if purchased at our table in the church lobby or $6.00 each if purchased online through the FAC website (includes online processing fee). Tickets must be purchased in advance and will not be sold at the door.

Be sure to reserve your seats early as seating is limited to the capacity of our gym. Check out our table in the church lobby for more information.

HOPE Summer Outreach

Date: Monday, May 13
Time: 7pm
Place: in B106

HOPE's ministry to refugees will continue over the summer in creative ways, so students can continue to progress and practice their English. Join us on Monday, May 13, at 7pm for an information meeting and learn how you can be involved this summer. There are many different times, locations, and activities to get involved in to fit your interests and availability.

Visit our table in the lobby on Sunday morning for more information. The only requirements are that you love people, love Jesus, and speak English!

Prayer for International Workers

Chris and Liz are international workers supported by FAC. They serve in N. Africa. Pray for a number of local Christians who have court hearings soon. They're accused of gathering without proper permission, and could face fines and/or imprisonment. Pray that God would give them words to boldly proclaim Jesus, wisdom to answer and interact with their accusers, and favor for them and their families.

You can learn more about them by picking up a copy of our “Prayer Guide for World Missions” near The Hub and you can partner with Chris and Liz in ministry by giving to the FAC Missions Fund.

Sunday Footnotes:

A gentle reminder to our Sunday family: if the service has already started, please refrain from using the center aisle to enter or leave the worship center, especially during the sermon time. Our camera operator needs a clear view of the pulpit.

Do You Have a Prayer Request or Praise?

"Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere" (Ephesians 6:18, NLT).
The staff and elders at FAC would love to pray for you. Send your request or praise to Pastor Scott through the form below.
