Our Vision
& Mission
To impact our community for Christ, one child & one family at a time.
Our mission is to help children know, love, and follow Jesus in a safe and Christ-centered environment. We want kids to have a heart for JESUS.
We believe FAC Kids can be a place where every child can BEGIN, BELONG, and BELIEVE.
Begin
We want each child to discover who Jesus is and that he loves them no matter what! FAC Kids is a safe and welcoming place where kids can be kids and discover the Bible in creative and meaningful ways. This is a place where kids can BEGIN their faith journey, seeking and finding out who Jesus is and what He has done for each and every one of them.
Belong
We want kids to BELONG. When kids come through the doors, we want to greet them warmly and assist them in fostering friendships with peers. We want to provide opportunities for kids and families to build community with each other. We want to get to know kids so that they feel seen, heard, and valued.
Believe
We want kids to BELIEVE. We want them to know their Savior, Jesus, and know he is the way, the truth, and the life. He forgives our sins. He is always there for us. We want to give kids the opportunity to hear the gospel message and make a decision to follow Christ! We want them to learn to hear the Holy Spirit and follow God’s commands.
About FAC Kids
Sunday Mornings
Children can be checked in during our 11am service.
Elementary (Kindergarten–5th Grade)
This is a place where elementary-aged kids share life and build friendships while they learn about God’s love and His Word. Kids spend part of their time in age-appropriate small groups before coming together for games, worship, and a Bible lesson with our FAC Kids team leaders.
Nursery & Pre-K
FAC Kids Nursery and Pre-K classes provide a safe place for children from birth through Pre-K to explore and discover Jesus in creative and meaningful ways. Our FAC Kids team leaders provide age-appropriate activities and care for your child.
FAC Kids Praise & Prayer Nights
FAC Kids Praise and Prayer Nights happen on the first Wednesday of each month from September through May and coincide with our churchwide Encounter Nights.
Children begin the evening worshipping with their families in the main sanctuary before splitting into small groups with FAC Kids leaders. In their small groups, kids participate in hands-on activities that help them learn how to praise and pray.
FAC Kids Playdates
FAC Kids Playdates happen on the third Thursday of each month from September through May.
Kids and parents or caregivers gather for free play and organized activities, along with a short object lesson, devotional, and craft or art activity.
These playdates are an opportunity for parents, caregivers, and children to connect, begin forming friendships, and encourage one another.
Events
Throughout the year, FAC Kids hosts a variety of events that give kids and their families opportunities to connect with one another, grow in their faith, and have FUN!
These events also give our leaders opportunities to build relationships with kids, families, and one another.
Events may include Popsicles in the Park, Vacation Bible School, Movie Nights, Christmas parties, and other special events.
FAC is honored to walk alongside your family as you commit your child (ages 6 and under) to God and mark this joyful milestone!
