Summer Series

Jesus Encounters | Week 4: Giving Our All | Mark 12:38–44

It’s so easy to talk about who Jesus is and what Jesus said without considering how we’d hear and respond to those if He were looking us in the eye. This week, we continue our summer series exploring what would happen if we had an authentic encounter with Jesus.

Don’t miss this Sunday as we explore how Jesus describes “Giving Our All.”

Nominations for FAC Elected Offices

Each year official FAC members nominate people to serve in our elected offices: Board of Elders, Corporate Officers: secretary, treasurer, assistant treasurer, missionary treasurer, and the Nominating Committee (for the following year). Nomination forms can be picked up at The Hub, with a return deadline of Sunday, July 19, 2026. Please be sure you have the person’s consent before nominating them. Thank you for your prayerful participation.

ALPHA Courses

Date: Sundays, June 28–August 30
Time: 5–7:30pm
Place: in the Youth Center

Alpha is a welcoming space for anyone who is curious about faith, exploring questions about life, or simply wanting meaningful conversation with others. Each gathering begins with a meal and includes time to connect, watch a thought-provoking video, and have an honest discussion in a relaxed, pressure-free environment. Whether you are new to faith, returning to faith, or wanting to grow deeper, Alpha is a great place to come as you are.

Alpha is a 10-week experience and is free to attend. Sign up in the church lobby or click the button below to help us prepare well for everyone who plans to attend.

Small Group Leader INTEREST MEETING

Date: Sunday, June 28
Time: 11am
Place: in Room B106

As we prepare to launch small groups this fall, we are looking for people who may be interested in leading and/or hosting a group or being an facWOMEN’S or facMEN's Bible study leader.

Small groups will be a place where people can begin taking next steps in faith, be part of a meaningful Christ-centered community, and believe more deeply in who Jesus is and what He is doing in their lives.

We invite you to attend an informational meeting where we will share more about the vision for small groups, what we will be doing over the next few weeks to prepare, and the upcoming training days for leaders and hosts.

Whether you feel ready to lead, are open to hosting, or simply want to learn more, we would love for you to join us as we prayerfully prepare to launch small groups in the fall.

Food Pantry

Are you or someone you know in need of food? Did you know that FAC has a Food Pantry that serves families in our church and in our community experiencing financial hardships? Our Food Pantry is open once per week on alternating Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. To learn if you qualify or to get a copy of our schedule, please speak with Ron Bauerle or Terry Kalgren at the table in the lobby or call the church office.

You can help by donating non-perishable food items in the collection bins located throughout the church.

Volunteer Opportunity

Do you enjoy numbers and paying attention to details? We are seeking a dependable volunteer to serve as an attendance counter during the 11am worship service on the second Sunday of each month.

This is a simple but important ministry that helps us maintain accurate attendance records and better understand the needs of our congregation.

If you would like to learn more or are interested in serving, please contact Kim Palmer in the church office at kpalmer@facerie.org or 814-833-9862.

Thank you for considering this opportunity to serve!
