Oscar & Charlotte García

MONTEVIDEO, URUGUAY

Oscar and Charlotte García currently serve in two main areas: theological education and church ministries.

Oscar works as a professor and academic coordinator for the Alliance seminary, and Charlotte is one of the professors. Together, they are developing a ministry for student care.

They provide workshops and materials that local churches can use to teach and disciple people. They serve at a church in Montevideo, Uruguay where they are a mentoring couple to the newly installed pastor. They are involved in worship, preaching, children’s ministry, visitation, and more.

The Garcías also support English Camp and Kids Club (using English learning as a bridge to build relationships in the community), and they are involved in sports ministry in order to meet people outside the church.

Oscar has begun studies for a Ph.D. in Theological Education.

Oscar and Charlotte have two daughters.
