facWEEKLY March 20

We hope you've had a good week, FAC Family! Here are just some of the great things happening in the coming weeks.

Check out "What's Happening" for a full list of events taking place this quarter.

Worship This Sunday

A View to the Cross | Part 2: Fully Surrendered | Luke 9:57–62

Many of us have been encouraged to “take Jesus with you” into every area of our lives—work, home, school, etc. While that’s not necessarily a bad idea, Jesus’ original idea is much better.

Join us this Sunday as we continue our series titled A View to the Cross, learning some important lessons from Jesus, as we approach Easter Sunday.

Don’t forget to invite family and friends to join us on Easter. Remember: one service @ 10:30am, Easter Sunday.

Easter Sunday

Date: Sunday, April 5
Time: 10:30am
Place: in the Worship Center

Join us on Easter Sunday as we celebrate the hope, joy, and new life found in the resurrection of Jesus! Invite your friends and family as we come together for ONE combined service at 10:30am. Everyone is welcome. Come celebrate the risen Savior with us!

Please note: No children's or adult classes will meet, including nursery/childcare, allowing everyone to attend and enjoy the service together.

Good Friday Service

Date: Friday, April 3
Time: 7:00pm
Place: in the Worship Center

Join us on Good Friday as we gather to remember the sacrifice and love of Jesus Christ. This meaningful service will be a time of reflection, worship, prayer, Scripture and Communion as we honor the significance of the cross and prepare our hearts for Easter. Invite your family and friends to join you.

Please Note: Childcare will not be available for this service; however, children are welcome and encouraged to join us. Additionally, the balcony will be closed for the evening.

Journey with God Easter Series

Dates: Sundays, March 22 & 29
Time: 9:30am
Place: in Room B106

The Journey with God adult class invites you to join them for a special Easter series, The Case for Easter—Evidence for the Resurrection of Jesus by Lee Strobel. This powerful series examines the story around the Resurrection of Jesus and how you can know it is true.

Men's Bible Study

Date: Saturdays, beginning March 21
Time: 9am
Place: in the Fireside Room (E215)

We are excited for the next men's Bible Study, Jesus Said—Remembering and Following the Red-Letter Words of Jesus.

Jesus is the foundation of the Christian faith, but far too often we ignore His teachings and excuse His commands. After centuries of crafting our own traditions and creating our own customs, it’s time for us to return to the red-letter words of Jesus. It’s a filter to following Jesus, and a reality check to what we’ve believed along the way.

There is no cost to attend and no need to sign up; just show up! Contact Wes Palmer (wbpalmer8@gmail.com) for more information.

Believer's Baptism

Date: Sunday, April 12
Time: 9:30 & 11am
Place: in the Worship Center

If you've made the decision to follow Christ but have never been baptized, what's holding you back? At FAC, we celebrate these things together as a family, and we're planning a baptism service for Sunday, April 12, during both morning services. Baptism classes are a prerequisite for this.

If you're interested, you can register below, online at facerie.org, or contact Pastor Scott at sshuffield@facerie.org.

VBS 2026 Volunteers!

Volunteer for The Great Jungle Journey VBS and help create an unforgettable adventure for kids! Your time and talents will make a lasting impact as we share the love and truth of Jesus. We also need many hands—before and during VBS—to prepare decorations and bring this exciting week to life.

VBS will run Monday, June 22–Friday, June 26, from 6–8:30pm each evening at FAC.

Register to volunteer at the facKIDS table in the lobby or by clicking the button below. Questions? Contact Meghan Lawson at mlawson@facerie.org or Abbie Ream at aream@facerie.org.

Prayer for International Worker Holly Woodworth

Holly Woodworth is working in Miami with the Christian & Missionary Alliance. Part of Holly’s ministry is teaching English to immigrants. Pray for ESL students to trust gathering without fear of immigration issues.

You can learn more about Holly by picking up a copy of our “Prayer Guide for World Missions” at the Missions Table near the entrance of the Worship Center. You can partner with Holly in ministry by giving to the Great Commission Fund.
