facWEEKLY July 18

We hope you've had a good week, FAC Family! Here are just some of the great things happening in the coming weeks.

Check out "What's Happening" for a full list of events taking place this quarter.

Worship This Sunday

The Parables of Jesus | Leaven - How Faith Grows in Us | Matthew 13:33; Luke 13:20-21

Like yeast working its way through dough, the kingdom of God flourishes as it works its way through us and through cultures by traveling from person to person.

Can’t wait to see you Sunday!

Bible Drive

Did you know believers outnumber Bibles 300 to 1, worldwide? Can you imagine sharing 1 Bible with 299 other people or never having access to God’s Word? The goal of Project Bible Runners is to collect 10,000 English Bibles every 3 months, and they need our help.

Would you consider joining FAC as we support the mission of Project Bible Runners by donating a Bible or two? Look through your bookshelves or stop by a thrift store or a garage sale. Bibles in any condition and any translation will gladly be accepted. When a faithful follower of Jesus is equipped with a Bible, he or she will then share the Good News with at least 10 people who will then surrender their life to Jesus!

Bibles can be dropped off at the table in the lobby beginning Sunday, July 13, or in the church office during the week. All Bibles must be received no later than Sunday, July 27.

Family Beach Day 2025

Date: Sunday, August 17
Time: 5pm
Place: at Presque Isle's Beach 11 pavilion

FAC family, we hope you're planning to join us on Sunday, August 17, at 5pm, for Family Beach Day at Presque Isle's Beach 11!

Our evening will begin at the pavilion with a time of worship, followed by powerful testimonies from those being baptized. From there we will walk to the beach for baptisms, so be sure to bring a lawn chair or blanket with you. We will then head back to the pavilion for a time of fellowship, activities, light refreshments (provided by FAC) and a short devotional.

If you are interested in being baptized, please email info@facerie.org AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. The deadline to register is August 3, but the sooner we hear from you, the better.

We have the Beach 11 pavilion reserved for the entire day, so feel free to take advantage of this opportunity to enjoy a picnic with your family after church or before we begin our time together that evening.

We look forward to celebrating summer with you!

Medical Response Team

Do you have a compassionate heart and medical training? We are looking to add qualified medical personnel to our volunteer Medical Response Team for Sunday mornings during the worship services. If you would like more information please contact Dr. Dave Beaton (mattbob3311@gmail.com) or Dr. Brandon Williams (brandonjw1215@gmail.com).

Collecting Shoes and Socks for Kids in the Dominican Republic

We are collecting NEW shoes and socks for kids of all ages who live in the Dominican Republic and are associated with Meeting God in Missions (MGM). There will be a table in the lobby from July 6–20, where you can drop off your donations. This is a wonderful way for you to support our ongoing ministry with MGM even if you are unable to go on a short-term mission trip!

Adventures with Remember Nhu in Kenya

Date: Sunday, July 20
Time: 9:30am
Place: in room B106

Come and hear from Sandy Taylor, Rita Bagnoni, and Gwyn Horner as they share about their recent mission trip with Remember Nhu to Kenya! All are invited on Sunday, July 20, at 9:30am in room B106 (music room). Seating is limited, so be sure to get there early.

They will also be at the Global Missions table in the lobby the following Sunday, July 27, between the morning services to tell you about the trip, show some pictures, and introduce you to the children who are lacking full sponsorship, if you would like to get involved.

Prayer for International Workers Bob & Cheryl Fugate, Mexico

Bob and Cheryl are international workers supported by FAC, serving in Guadalajara, Mexico. Praise the Lord that their family– kids and grandkids – was able to gather with Bob and Cheryl for a 45th wedding anniversary celebration and vacation together!

You can learn more about Bob and Cheryl by picking up a copy of our “Prayer Guide for World Missions” at the Missions Table, near the entrance of the Worship Center and you can partner with Bob and Cheryl in ministry by giving to the Great Commission Fund.

Do You Have a Prayer Request or Praise?

"Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere" (Ephesians 6:18, NLT).
The staff and elders at FAC would love to pray for you. Send your request or praise to Pastor Scott through the form below.
