facWEEKLY September 19
We hope you've had a good week, FAC Family! Here are just some of the great things happening in the coming weeks.
Check out "What's Happening" for a full list of events taking place this quarter.
Worship This Sunday
Ephesians | The Walk of a Christ-follower | Ephesians 4:25–31
This week's Scripture reminds us that as members of the body of Christ, we are called to a new way of living. Let's put away falsehood, resolve our anger before sundown, speak words that build up instead of tear down, and refuse to give a foothold to the devil. Instead, let's be kind and forgiving, just as God has forgiven us.
facWOMEN’s Evening Bible Study
Date: Mondays, beginning October 6
Time: 6–8pm
Place: in room E215 (Fireside Room)
Cost: $15 for book
Ladies, you’re invited to join us for a meaningful six-week Bible study on Monday evenings! Together, we’ll dive into the book of Habakkuk through a study by Dannah Gresh.
Habakkuk was no stranger to fear, doubt, and life’s storms—yet his story now shines as an example of living faithfully when God feels silent. This study will help us see how remembering God’s faithfulness in the past gives us strength and hope for today.
Let’s come together as women of faith—encouraging, uplifting, and uniting in Christ—as we grow deeper in God’s Word and stronger in our walk with Him.

Sr. Adults Movie & Pizza Night
Date: Friday, October 10
Time: 6–9pm
Place: in the Youth Center
Cost: $5 per person
Come for a fun evening of food, fellowship, and entertainment. Pizza and beverages will be served for dinner followed by a movie. And of course, there will be popcorn!
We will be watching "The Unbreakable Boy." The movie is inspired by the true story of when Scott and Teresa learn that their son, Austin, is autistic and has brittle bone disease. They initially worry about his future. However, with Scott's growing faith and Austin's incredible spirit, they become unbreakable as they find joy, gratitude and courage in the most trying times.
Sign up at the Senior’s table in the lobby or by clicking the button below. Deadline to sign up is Tuesday, October 7.
Prayer for International workers Chris and Liz (N. Africa)
Chris and Liz are international workers supported by FAC. They serve in N. Africa. They are now back in N. Africa and are getting ramped up for the fall. Pray for good reconnections with brothers and sisters. Pray that Chris and Liz could meet up with many people and start some Bible studies that would whet everyone's appetite for a functioning church fellowship. Pray that Justice and Andrew, the new professing Christians, would be willing to get into the Word with Chris. Pray for courage for the kids as they prepare to start school again. And pray for open doors for Liz with ladies in the neighborhood.
You can learn more about Chris and Liz by picking up a copy of our “Prayer Guide for World Missions” at the Missions Table, near the entrance of the Worship Center and you can partner with Chris and Liz in ministry by giving to the FAC Missions Fund.
Do You Have a Prayer Request or Praise?
"Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere" (Ephesians 6:18, NLT).
The staff and elders at FAC would love to pray for you. Send your request or praise to Pastor Scott through the form below.
