Worship This Sunday
2025 Annual Congregational Meeting & Worship Service
You are invited to join us on Sunday, October 26, for one combined worship service at 10am as we celebrate God’s faithfulness and what He has done and continues to do here at FAC! We have the privilege of hearing from District Superintendent, Rev. David Nagel, of the Western PA District of the Christian & Missionary Alliance. Reverend Nagel will be teaching from Jonah 3:10-4:11, “When God Sends You Where You Don’t Want to Go”. A cake and punch reception will follow in the gym at the conclusion of the service.
Official FAC members will have the privilege of voting for elders and church officers. If you haven’t already voted, you may pick up your ballot at the designated table in the lobby on the day of the Annual Meeting.
*Please note that no groups, classes, or other ministries will meet this morning. Children of all ages are always welcome into the worship service. We also have a Family Room available, where the service is live streamed, for any families who may feel more comfortable worshiping with their young children in that environment.
Operation Christmas Child
Beginning Sunday, October 26, Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes will be available for pickup! If you would like to pack a shoebox or have questions about Operation Christmas Child, please stop by the table in the church lobby to learn more.
National Collection Week is November 17 thru November 24. If you would like to volunteer during that week, we would be very blessed and happy to have you join us. Signup sheets will be available at the table as well.
Thank you for considering blessing a child with a tangible expression of God's love through a simple shoebox this Christmas.
facKiDS Family Movie Night
Date: Thursday, November 6
Time: 6:30–8pm
Place: in the Youth Center
Join us for a cozy family night with A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, snacks, crafts, and fun! This is a family event, so parents—we’d love for you to stay and enjoy the evening with your kids! It’s a chance to relax, laugh, and just be together.
Please register how many kids you’ll be bringing—it’s free, but this helps us plan for snacks and supplies!
Senior Adults’ Event: Let's Make a Deal
Date: Friday, November 14
Time: 6:30–8:30pm
Place: in the Youth Center
Cost: $5
Come for an evening filled with fun, laughter, getting to know people better, snacks, games and prizes. Lots of prizes! "From the playground of Erie, the entertainment capital of Western PA. From the Youth Center of Erie's First Alliance Church, the region's best church, we bring you the marketplace of the 814, LET'S MAKE A DEAL, hosted by Pastor Scott!"
Holiday Blessings
Date: Saturday, November 15
Time: 5–8pm
Place: in the FAC Gym & Worship Center
Cost: $7 per ticket or $8 if purchased online (includes processing fee)
FAC Women and Girls - it's time for Holiday Blessings! You're invited on Saturday, November 15th from 5–8pm in the FAC Gym and Worship Center. Come for a delicious dinner as we kick off the Thanksgiving and Christmas season together, and join us as we explore "UNWRAPPING GOD'S GREATEST GIFT".
Be sure to invite your friends, family and co-workers to enjoy this special evening including fun, fellowship, a delicious dinner, music, a craft, our free basket giveaway, and a great message from our guest speaker!
Tickets are $7 each if purchased at our table in the church lobby or $8 each if purchased online through the FAC website (includes online processing fee). Tickets must be purchased in advance and will not be sold at the door. Be sure to reserve your seats early as seating for dinner is limited to the capacity of our gym.

Believer's Baptism
Date: Sunday, November 23
Time: 9:30 & 11am
Place: in the Worship Center
If you've made the decision to follow Christ but have never been baptized, what's holding you back? At FAC, we celebrate these things together as a family, and we're planning a baptism service for Sunday, November 23, during both morning services. Baptism classes are a prerequisite for this, and these two classes will be held in November.

The Collingsworth Family: A True Family Christmas Tour 2025
Date: Friday, December 5, 2025 @ 7pm in the worship center

The Collingsworth Family presents 'A True Family Christmas Tour 2025' at First Alliance Church on Friday, December 5 at 7pm. The Collingsworth family is a Southern Gospel/inspirational group started by Phil and Kim Collingsworth and features their family as the group. They performed at FAC last October, and we are excited to have them back again this year!
Tickets can be purchased by clicking on the button below. Get your general admission ticket for only $20 when you use the discount code 'church'. Tickets will NOT be sold through the church office.
Prayer for International Workers Steve and Christy Volstad (South America)
Steve and Christy Volstad are international workers supported by Inca Link, based in the US, but serving missionaries in South America. Pray for Christy as she prepares to go to Thailand for member care for a regional gathering November 6-16.
You can learn more about Steve and Christy by picking up a copy of our “Prayer Guide for World Missions” at the Missions Table, near the entrance of the Worship Center and you can partner with Steve and Christy in ministry by giving to the FAC Missions.
