Check out "What's Happening" for a full list of events taking place this quarter.

Worship This Sunday

GRACE UPON GRACE | Made Alive! | Ephesians 2:1-9

A new start, a breath of fresh air, turning over a new leaf. These are all ways that we’ve come to express that feeling of a new beginning in our lives. God, in the grace that He lavishes upon us, has done one better: God has made us alive! Join us this week as we see God’s power at work in the lives of those “in Christ,” made alive.

Sr. Adults Movie & Pizza Night

Date: Friday, June 13

Place: in the Youth Center
Cost: $5 per person

Come for a fun evening of food, fellowship, and entertainment. Pizza and beverages will be served for dinner followed by a movie. And of course, there will be popcorn!

We will be watching Ordinary Angels. The movie is inspired by the incredible true story of a hairdresser who single-handedly rallies an entire community to help a widowed father save the life of his critically ill young daughter.

Sign up at the Senior’s table in the lobby or by clicking the button below. Deadline to sign up is Tuesday, June 10.

2025 Father's Day Men's Breakfast

Date: Saturday, June 14
Time: 9–10:30am
Place: in the Youth Center

Guys, it's time for good food and fellowship! The 2025 Father's Day Men's Breakfast will be held Saturday, June 14. Come on out and enjoy amazing food and fellowship with others from FAC and the community as we celebrate Father's Day one of the best ways we know how...with bacon!

Sign up at the table in the lobby or by clicking the button below to register. Registration is required and the deadline is June 8. Space is limited, so sign up today! There is no cost to attend, but donations will be accepted.

Summer Coffee Break

We know how much you love your Sunday morning coffee and snacks - we do too! But we love our coffee and snack team volunteers even more! For that reason, we are taking a step in helping them find some rest and relief by giving them a well-deserved break this summer.

Beginning June 1 through Labor Day weekend, we will temporarily suspend serving coffee and snacks in the lobby on Sunday mornings.

If you're looking for a way to get involved by serving, the coffee and snack team will be recruiting some new volunteers later this summer when we gear up for the fall season. Be looking for that announcement right here in the facWEEKLY and during the Sunday morning announcements in the months to come.

Group Life Leaders

We are looking for leaders in the overall Group Life at FAC. Are you interested in leading a home group, a class that meets in the church building, or maybe an affinity group (common interests)? Do you want to lead a group that has a definite end date, or one that will continue indefinitely? If you're interested in this possibility, email Steve Volstad at svolstad@facerie.org for more information.

Missions Trip to Mexico

Date: July 18–25
Place: Mexico
Cost: $2,000

We're sending a team to Mexico to work with our International Workers with the Christian & Missionary Alliance! This trip will be to help them develop their English ministry, as they hope to have an accredited English center one day. This won't be an English camp but an opportunity to step into their existing program and also help train new local teachers. We're looking for a mix of those with experience teaching English but also encouragers to support the new teachers.

A passport that does not expire before February 2026 is needed for travel, and we estimate the cost at $2000. Scholarships are available for those who attend FAC on a regular basis.

If interested, register online by Sunday, May 25. This doesn't obligate you, but it lets us know you're interested. More information is available in the lobby.

facMEN's Softball

The facMEN's softball team will be in action once again this summer! If you're looking for something to do on a beautiful summer evening, come on out and support the team. The team plays in a Christian league with other area churches. Schedules are available at the Adult Ministries table in the lobby. *THERE HAS BEEN A CHANGE TO THE SCHEDULE; IF YOU PICKED ONE UP LAST WEEK, GRAB AN UPDATED COPY!

Communion Prep Volunteer Opportunity

Would you be willing to help on the communion prep team? The communion ministry is seeking dedicated volunteers to serve on their team, helping to prepare and take care of the communion elements. It's a meaningful and important way to reverently serve the church family behind the scenes. Teams operate on a rotation basis, with each team serving four times per year on the first Sunday of the month. We welcome older children who are able to serve with their adult.

Please contact Sandy Taylor at 814-449-0937 or sjjt@aol.com for more information.

Prayer for International Workers Bob & Cheryl Fugate in Mexico

Bob and Cheryl are international workers supported by FAC, serving in Guadalajara, Mexico. Pray for a rental to be secured for the Solares Campus soon! And for a rental for the 6th campus - in San Agustin. The leadership team is already in place to launch this new campus.

You can learn more about Bob and Cheryl by picking up a copy of our “Prayer Guide for World Missions” at the Missions Table, near the entrance of the Worship Center and you can partner with Bob and Cheryl in ministry by giving to the Great Commission Fund.

Do You Have a Prayer Request or Praise?

"Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere" (Ephesians 6:18, NLT).
The staff and elders at FAC would love to pray for you. Send your request or praise to Pastor Scott through the form below.
