Worship This Sunday
DANIEL: Stand Firm | Week 5: Don’t Dabble | Daniel 4:1–18
Often in our culture, we get eye rolls or snickering when it comes to things of the spirit world. Daniel has consistently reminded us that the Most High God has insurmountable power. It is good for us to remember that the goal of the enemy of God is to take our eyes off of God/Jesus, distract us from the truth, and to turn our thoughts and ways away from God. Yet, Daniel shows us, time and again, that we don’t need to live in fear because of the enemy; instead, we can live in victory because God’s “dominion is from generation to generation.”
FAC Members’ Ballot Pickup
Official FAC members have the privilege of voting for next year’s Elders, Church Officers, and Nominating Committee. Ballots are available at the table beside the Welcome Center this Sunday and until 11:15am next Sunday, October 25, during our Annual Meeting. We encourage you to pick up your ballot and cast your vote as early as possible.
Members who are unable to vote in person can request an absentee ballot by contacting Kim Palmer in the church office at kpalmer@facerie.org or 814-833-9862. The deadline to receive absentee ballots is Wednesday, October 21.
Believer's Baptism
Date: Sunday, November 15
Time: 9:30 or 11am
Place: in the Worship Center
If you've made the decision to follow Christ but have never been baptized, what's holding you back? At FAC, we celebrate these things together as a family, and we're planning a baptism service for Sunday, November 15th, during both morning services. Baptism classes are a prerequisite for this.

Collecting Glasses and Hearing Aids for the Dominican Republic
We are collecting glasses and hearing aids to take to the Dominican Republic as part of our ministry with Meeting God in Missions. These items can be placed in collection boxes found at The Welcome Center.
Prayer for Remember Nhu Ministry
Remember Nhu is a ministry committed to ending child sex slavery through prevention, which is the most effective way to keep children safe and end this evil practice. Individuals and families at FAC sponsor girls and boys in Kenya, Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, and Tanzania.
