Worship This Sunday
THE 2026 ANNUAL MEETING OF FIRST ALLIANCE CHURCH
Beyond Our Walls | Look at What the LORD Has Done! | Matthew 28:16–20 & Acts 1:6–8
More than 50 years ago, our parents, grandparents, people we never knew, and people who we’ve long forgotten followed the Lord’s lead to reestablish FAC here at 2939 Zimmerly Road. God led them to this place with a new vision and a new future. I cannot shake the idea that we are living in the moment that our parents and grandparents dreamed about when FAC moved here.
Join us Sunday as we celebrate the last year of ministry at FAC and see where God is leading us in the next season of First Alliance Church.
Women’s Thursday Afternoon Bible Study
Date: Thursdays
Time: 1pm
Place: in Room F201
This ongoing Bible study meets year-round on Thursday afternoons. The group is nearing the end of its study of Colossians and will begin studying Romans on October 29. New participants are welcome to join!
Encounter: Prayer & Worship Nights
Date: Wednesday, November 4
Time: 7pm
Place: in the Worship Center
Encounter is a night set aside to slow down, seek the Lord, and pray together. These nights invite us to lift our eyes to Jesus, unite our hearts in prayer & worship, and encounter God together in a meaningful and expectant way. We gather to pray for one another, our church, our ministries, and our community while listening for God’s leading.
We believe that God shows up in powerful ways where He’s wanted—and we want God present and moving at FAC. Don’t miss this opportunity as we seek God in prayer & worship.
FAC Kids Praise & Prayer Nights
Date: Wednesday, November 4
Time: 7pm
Place: in the Worship Center
Once a month, we’re getting our praise on and putting our prayer into action! 🙌
On the first Wednesday of each month from 7–8pm, September through May, join us for FAC Kids Praise & Prayer Nights. These nights happen alongside our churchwide Encounter: Prayer and Worship Nights, so the whole church gets to worship and pray together!
Kids will start the evening worshiping with their families in the main sanctuary. Then, it’s time to split into small groups with our FAC Kids leaders and get hands-on! Through fun activity stations, kids will learn what it means to praise God and pray to Him in ways they can understand—and actually practice.
Come ready to sing, pray, learn, and have some fun! 🎉
Holiday Blessings
Date: Saturday, November 14
Time: 5:00–8:00pm
Place: Gym & Worship Center (use portico entrance)
Cost: $7 per ticket or $8 if purchased online (includes processing fee)
FAC Women & Girls, it’s time for Holiday Blessings! Kick off the holiday season with an evening of fun, fellowship, and a delicious dinner as we explore the theme, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
Invite your friends, family, and coworkers to join us for a special evening featuring a musical performance by the Flagship City Chorus, a craft, a message from guest speaker Nichole Schreiber, and our free basket giveaway. Women and girls of all ages are welcome!
Tickets are $7 each at the church lobby table or $8 online (includes the processing fee). Tickets must be purchased in advance; no tickets will be sold at the door. Women2Women Bible Study | The Land Between
Date: Tuesdays (beginning October 27)
Time: 9:30–11:30am
Place: in Room B106
Cost: $8 for the book
What do we do when life takes us somewhere we never expected to be? Join Women2Women for a five-week study of The Land Between: Finding God in Difficult Transitions by Jeff Manion. Through the Israelites’ journey in the wilderness, discover how God meets us in seasons of uncertainty, change, and difficulty—and how these challenging times can become opportunities for deeper faith and spiritual growth. New participants are welcome!

Pack a Shoebox for Operation Christmas Child
Shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child will be available beginning this Sunday! Stop by the table in the church lobby to pick up a shoebox, learn how to pack one, or find out how you can volunteer during National Collection Week, November 16–23.
Consider how you can share Christ’s love and bless a child this Christmas!
Prayer for International Workers Jim & LuAnn Eaton, serving in Spain
Jim and LuAnn Eaton are international workers supported by FAC, serving in Alicante, Spain. A team from Gospel Tabernacle in Aliquippa will be visiting them Oct 31–Nov 7. Pray for meaningful conversations, divine appointments, and spiritual attentiveness throughout their time. Pray also for servant-hearted flexibility and that this trip will have a lasting impact on everyone involved, long after they return home.
You can learn more about the Eatons by picking up a copy of our “Prayer Guide for World Missions” at the Missions Table near the entrance of the Worship Center. You can partner with Jim and LuAnn in ministry by giving to the Great Commission Fund.
